HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We had a very busy holiday weekend with family & friends. Claire's first Thanksgiving dinner was spent at her Grandmom McQuaid's with very special visits from Uncle Mike & Aunt Liz, newlyweds Erin & Nick, Aunt Barbara, and Kimberly & Mark Kirk. She was loving all of the special attention from everyone until a terrible stomachache set in. She screamed and screamed and screamed.....we tried everything from rocking, burping, bouncing, walking.....Nothing seemed to help until we were back out into the night air and our poor little one finally fell asleep from sheer exhaustion. (We did too!)

The next day was better. Claire had her follow-up peditrician's appoinment. She weighed 5 lbs 2 oz! The doctor recommended prune juice for her stomach and thankfully it worked. Claire was a happy baby for the rest of the weekend!
