A Visit From Liam and His Mommy!
Last night my girlfriend Amy came down with her son Liam, soon to turn one! My friendship with Amy goes back to the very first day of college and has seen us through a lot that life has offered us so far. We've been party girls together (all those late nights at the DKE house!!), career girls, bridesmaids, brides, homeowners, and now we are both lifetime members of the mommy club. There's a lot to be said about a friendship that grows with you. We laughed at how much has changed from the crazy nights out from our past. For example....The only bottles in our hands last night had Dr. Browns written on it.....the cute blue-eyed boy we were vying for the attention of was in diapers and only had 6 teeth.....Old MacDonald was in the CD player........Happy Hour was the hour of playtime with Claire where she flashed Aunt Amy lots of toothless grins.......and 10:30pm signified the end of the night, not the beginning! Seriously though, I had a great time catching up with my friend and sharing with her my Thursday favorites-cuddling with Claire, watching The Office, and indulging in some red wine!

my favorite thing about little claire is how she sings back to you!! watch out mcquaids, wait til she REALLY talks back!! Liam keeps saying "k, k, k" for claire and corey...and when i say "where's the BIIIIIG dog", he looks around like crazy for Starla! ha! We had a great time....and yes, Steve we ARE lame according to a 1994 scenario...but nowadays, we're totally YUMMY MUMMYS, just without the red lipstick & stillettos right cor? Thanks again for everything!

do you know how many times I had to read "blogebrities" to figure out just what the hell you were trying to say?
Anyway, while the times have changed and you joke about days long gone you include that you were throwing back a bottle of red. Don't kid yourselves... times haven't changed THAT much.

HAHAHAHAH yes....but there was STILL HALF a bottle left & NO empty chip bags in the garbage in the morning, thank you very much!
The only thing that has changed is that the bottle of wine had a cork and wasn't a screw cap.
...and it came in a bottle not a box!
