Yes, it's true! Esther has decided that this will be her last year in the classroom. Although it is a bittersweet time for her, I think she really enjoyed being surrounded by her friends and family at her retirement dinner. The night began at the district dinner where many friends and collegues spoke on her behalf. She even received a standing ovation after giving her own good-bye speech! Claire came with us and was really turning on the charm with lots of smiles and baby talk. After dinner we all headed back to our house for cake, champagne, and an impromptu dance number by Livija.
