Christmas Day was spent in North Jersey. Aunt Marcie and Uncle Imants had a full house! Claire loved chasing after Livija's cousins Aleks, Anna, Magnuss, and Matiss and checking out the new Liepins house. After a delicious turkey dinner and dessert, we sang Christmas carols by the candlelit tree and opened presents. Claire was completely exhausted at this point so I ended up opening her gifts for her. (And boy were there a lot!) After Livi gave Claire a few pointers on learning how to walk, we packed up the car and headed back home.

Livija is dying for that little girl to start walking.
She constantly asks me, "Claire walk?" I can't wait until the summer when they can run through pappy's garden.
I can't wait for Claire to walk either because Corey will have to start chasing her.
