A lot has been going on with Keira too!

First of all, she's about 12 1/2 pounds!

She has started showing more interest in her toys and has fun grabbing for them and putting them in her mouth. She's still not rolling, but is tolerating being on her stomach a lot more during her tummy time and it is making her neck stronger as a result. She loves her baths and kicks and splashes the entire time with great determination.

We started her on solid foods. So far we've only introduced rice cereal. At first her tongue kept thrusting out and pushing it onto her chin faster than I could get it into her mouth, but now she has created her own little eating technique. I spoon in the cereal, her tongue still thrusts out, but then she quickly sticks her thumb in her mouth and sucks it until all the cereal is swallowed. She does this for every single bite. Pretty smart, huh? Not exactly how I hope she grows up to eat her food, but it's actually making its way to her belly and you have to give her points for creativity, right?
