EASTER DINNER AT GRAMMA ESTHER'S!

The afternoon was spent at Gramma Esther's. We could not have asked for better Easter Egg hunting weather (sunny and 75!) or better food (ham, lamb, and all the fixings!) We were joined by Gramma, Pappy, Aunt Marcie, Uncle Imants, Livija, Kalvis, Aunt Paula, Uncle Scott, Scotty, Aunt Lorraine, Heidi, and cousins Erin, Nick, and Briony. Whew! Full house!
Gramma Esther thoughtfully planned TWO Easter egg hunts...one for the "big girls" with eggs cleverly hid and filled with all types of candy and jewelry and one for the "babies" with eggs scattered about the lawn and filled with stickers and other goodies. Keira loved being outdoors, and although she eventually got a hang of the whole egg hunt thing, her attention span for it was pretty short. Claire, on the other hand, was ecstatic. She screamed every time she found an egg. Literally. It got funnier every time she would spot one.
It was a beautiful day spent with family although we were missing MyMike, Aunt Liz, and Nancy Carol down in North Carolina, as well as our dear Grambo as it was our first holiday since her passing.

The pictures and this particular posting brought happy tears to Michael and me. So sweet to see Claire and Keira relaxing with their cute cousins. One of my favorite pics. is watching Mama Mc. lifting Claire to the tree. Also, we would love a hard copy of you and Stephen photograph. After all that y'all have been through these past few weeks, it's about time some sunshine came your way. Love and miss you so much.
