Our Weekend Get-a-Way to Baltimore's Inner Harbor
To celebrate my birthday, the start of summer, and Keira's good sleep study, we decided to head a couple of hours south to Baltimore's Inner Harbor.  It was Claire's first time in a hotel and Keira's first time sleeping away from home (not counting hospital stays).  The girls kept us busy (I think we can kiss relaxing vacations good-bye for at least a few years!), but we had a great time and made lots of lasting memories along the way.

Some highlights of the trip include Claire's excitement at staying at a hotel ("THIS is Baltimore?"  she squealed as we entered the Days Inn. )  It took her awhile to realize Baltimore is the city, the Days Inn was just where we were sleeping ("in big girl beds" nonetheless).... The aquarium, especially the sharks and hearing Keira yell "WOW" over and over again...dinners (and margaritas!) at the Cheesecake Factory....Claire & Steve's dragon boat ride (see photos)...Claire's obsession with crabs (check out the photos of her eating the "crabby legs")...and just watching the girls out in a new city where everything is exciting to them.  I am exhausted, but it was a weekend well spent!

That crab leg is half the size of Clarie, Keira is looks very serious in that high chair, and that picture of Steve snoozing in bed is too funny.
