Claire has completed three days of school and she now HATES it.  She cries, screams, and clings to me for dear life when I drop her off.  We're hoping to stick it out until she works through her separation anxiety and begins enjoying preschool, but it is so hard seeing her so distraught.  Especially when she is constantly telling us she is "never going to school again" because she "already did that" and just wants to stay home.  Hopefully this attitude is temporary, but until then, we're working on getting her excited about the next school day (Tuesday).  Even her big cousin, Livija, is working on encouraging Claire.  Here is a video she emailed Claire yesterday.

Claire seriously had her face about 2 inches from the screen while watching this. She kept saying "Ok Liv. Thanks Liv." then looked at me and said "But I'm not going to school."

Aww poor Claire. I hope it eventually gets better. It's still early in the school year. Hopefully she can make some friends and be more excited about going.
