It's been in the works for awhile now.
First she started to cruise around all the furniture by holding on with two hands and side stepping from place to place.
Then as the weeks went on, she would walk for short distances while we held both of her hands.
Last weekend I witnessed her walking while my mom held only one of her hands.
Suddenly her furniture cruising graduated to only holding with one hand and the side step was replaced with one foot in front of the other.
Then tonight, she did it.

What a big girl! Give her a week and she will be all over the place. You won't be able to catch her!
