My last baby is.........POTTY TRAINED!
No more diapers needed in the McQuaid house! We started about three weeks ago. Minnie Mouse panties replaced the diaper, "Scooby Snacks" were bought in bulk, a training seat was put on the toilet, a princess potty was set up in the living room, and an Elmo potty was ready in the kitchen (just in case!). We were very prepared to start Keira's potty training, but little Keira was not quite as enthusiastic as we had hoped. She would sit on the potty just fine, but she would NOT go. Talk about being stubborn (and having an amazing bladder!). She would sit for up to an hour on the potty. She'd sing, tell jokes, talk to herself, but no pee whatsoever. She would hold it all day long until her nap and then hold it again until bedtime (the two times she was in a pull up/diaper).
We didn't really see any progress for about four or five days. Around that time Keira realized that "pee pee in the potty" meant she would get Scooby Snacks (fruit snacks) and from that point on there was no stopping her! And here we are, my last baby is out of diapers. Can you believe it?

adorable! I love her. shes so big now!! she can actually say understandable sentences now! haha
