DANCE RECITAL!

DANCE RECITAL!
I'm going to jump back a few weeks, but the girls' dance recital was just too cute not to share.
This was Claire's THIRD dance recital and she danced both tap and ballet.  Her tap routine was to Mary Poppins' "A Spoon Full of Sugar" and her ballet routine was to an instrumental version of "Mary Had a Little Lamb".  She did great and has really fallen in love with dance this year.  She became a part of CBW's competition team, Dance Elite, and has blossomed!  She told me she thinks she "was born to dance".  :)  She is not one bit nervous on that stage and says she can't believe she "won't be on stage all summer long!"  Who would have ever thought my once shy little girl was going to love performing so much?

This day marked Keira's FIRST dance recital!  She was a tiny bit anxious about the big day, but the full dress rehearsal we had the week before helped prepare her and make her feel more comfortable.  Keira loved getting dressed up in her costume.  She told me that the lipstick is her "favorite part".  :)  Keira's age group only performed one dance.  It was a tap routine to "Three Little Fishies" and even had a little bit of singing with it.    She was adorable and we were so proud!
